Museum of Prudnik's land(Muzeum Ziemi Prudnickiej)- Prudnik's borough institution created in 1959 as branch of Opole's Silesia museum. Has become independent in 1968. Its head office are fortified towers build in XV century as well as buildings adjoined to The Middle Ages city walls.
At one time located here were arsenal, prison and waterworks and at the time of Occupation Gestapo prison. The archaeological, historical, artistic and ethnographic collections portray complex history of this region and material culture of former residents of Prudnik community.
In 2001 to 2003 from province Opole's and Prudnik community's contract funds, the architecture was renovated with refurbishing of old third wing and courtyard covered with glass roof, thus gaining exelent conditions for organising various exhibitions and events.
Since 2010 museum has one division dedicated to provide availibility of antic viewing tower.
